I photograph people who’d usually rather be behind the camera. Founders, CEOs, lawyers, coaches, financial advisers, whole teams who’ve been using the same LinkedIn photo since 2015… and, on occasion, a prime minister.

In more than a decade and 10,000-odd sessions across Melbourne and Sydney, I’ve learned that a good portrait has very little to do with how you think you should look. It’s about getting to know you, giving you clear direction, finding flattering light, and bringing a touch of humour until you start to relax. It doesn’t take long. And what we end up with is a version of you that you’ll actually be proud to share.
